How to Upload your Text File
Firstly you must select the file which contains your entry. Do this by clicking on the 'Choose File' or 'Browse' button and in the File Dialogue window which will appear, navigate to your file. Select the file by clicking on it and then click 'Open' at the bottom of the window. The name of the file you have chosen will be shown. If you are happy it is the correct file, click 'Submit'. If it is not, click 'Choose File' or 'Browse' again and select the correct file.
How to Enter your Entry Text
First open the file that contains your entry as you would normally. Select all the text (there is usually a Select All option in the Edit menu). Copy the selected text. Now move back to your browser with the Entry Text box visible. Right Click in the Entry Text box and select Paste from the menu which appears and the text will be pasted into the form. You may wish to scroll through to ensure that all is ok. If you find a problem you can click 'Clear Text' and start again, or if there is a simple error you can correct this in the text box. When happy, click 'Submit'.
Armed Forces
If you are serving, or have served in the Armed Forces we would like to know. This is not part of the competition - anyone can enter. Why do we want this information? Well some Armed Forces Publications are considering publishing a selection of entries by Armed Forces personnel at the end of the competition.
